Properties:
The quality product is white or light yellow crystal, melting point 157-160oC , and this product is easily soluble in toluene, ethyl acetate, acetone, chloroform, ethanol etc. slightly soluble in hexane and petroleum ether. Solubility in water is very low (10μg/L)

Usage:
It acts as an insecticide by affecting the nervous system of and paralyzing insects. Abamectin is used to control insect and mite pests of citrus, pear, and nut tree crops, and it is used by homeowners for control of fire ants.
